Upcoming Raffle for A Stateroom on the Big Nude Boat

Mountain Air Ranch is the lucky recipient of a voucher for a stateroom (two people) on the Big Nude Boat Cruise in February 2013. We will be raffling off that voucher, with the drawing being December 27, 2012 (Memorial Day Weekend). Raffle tickets can be purchased in the MAR Office once we have our raffle license from the State of Colorado and have the tickets printed. Proceeds from the raffle will be used for various improvement projects around the Ranch.

Here are some preliminary details (subject to change while we get all the tickets printed and licensed):

Take a chance to win a cabin, for two, on the “Big Nude Cruise” sailing on February 9, 2013 from Ft Lauderdale, by purchasing a raffle ticket for $20.

Mountain Air Ranch and Bare Necessities present the “Big Nude Cruse” Raffle. The winner will receive occupancy of cabin 8201 for two on the “Big Nude Boat” sailing from Ft. Lauderdale on February 9, 2013. This is a $1,761 per person value for a total prize value of $3,522. The drawing will be held on May 27, 2012 at 2pm, MAR poolside. The winner must pay port taxes and gratuities of $165.66 per person. They must also pay a $100 deposit per person to be returned as an onboard credit. The winner will be responsible for their own transportation to and from ship.

Lost Bikini Grill Hours of Operation

Michelle has posted that she will have the Lost Bikini Grill serving meals on March 17th for Dinner, and from 8am to 2pm on March 18th for breakfast and lunch.

Beginning April 7th, she will have the Grill open every Saturday and Sunday.

Ranch Internet Service

For those of you who use the Ranch Internet service (and the number is growing every year), here is a speedtest result of the Ranch Internet Service. This is run on one of the two Internet connections that the Ranch has available to guests and members.

This was run over the WiFi approximately 200 feet from an access point at the Clubhouse when no other users were using this connection. Its not as fast as most of Metropolitan Denver, but for our location, its pretty good.

The security code for the WiFi service is posted on the bulletin board in the Clubhouse Dining Room, and cards with the security code are available in the Ranch office. WiFi usage is free for members and guests.

Richard's passing

For those of you who know Richard and Iris (from Diane R):

Richard "completed his journey" at 11:03 this am. He had a very restless night then the hospice nurse, Richard's brother and chaplain came early this morning. They gave him something to relax and left. He passed quietly in bed with Iris at his side sharing her love, thanks and memories. He was able to acknowledge her presence. Iris said she is doing OK. She has plans for a small "coffee" reception at the VFW in Craig, then ashes will be scattered on his ranch, at MAR later this summer and at a military ceremony at Ft. Logan "When the weather is warmer". Please send her love and strength.
